Doug has a rich history and extensive experience in community rights struggles in the 70’s and 80’s and pro-poor initiatives. Retired now,
Doug manages the St Gerhard’s community feeding scheme based in Newlands East and surrounding communities and is a committed member of the
Holy Parish Catholic Church in Newlands East.
Robert de Broize

Rob is a retired fitter and Turner by trade and has been a resident of Newlands East for over 25 Years. Rob was instrumental and supportive
in the establishment of the Newlands East training facility, and is an ardent supporter of The Foundations continued efforts to find practical
and sustainable solutions to communities beset by poverty in South Africa.
